A Man's Meal!

Sometimes when you love a man you feed him his favorite foods in front of the TV while watching a movie like "Death Race"....and you don't worry about the outcome because you love him!

January Date Night!

My hubby got a wonderful idea for us to go to the annual London Food and Wine show for our January Date Night. It was good in theory but not in practice as the only time we could arrange to get away was on a Sunday afternoon. We were just not feeling in the mood for wine sampling and exotic food tasting at that time so we opted for something a little less ambitious.

We went here for lunch......

and we ate these.....

and we shared a big one of these....romantic eh?

We then went to one of my favorite hot spots.....

where we purchased these for him....

and these for me...and we shared them.....

while we snuggled together and watched this funny guy in Mall Cop!

On the way home we stopped here....

and had a cup of this....






It wasn't glamorous but we enjoyed our time together!

Skyla's Jolie Dress Shoppe!

My daughter came home with a new project for her Fashion Class this week.....Create a dress shop out of a shoe box! How exciting is that? I think I may be a wee bit more enthusiastic than Skyla! These are some pics of the beginning of her dress shop.....it kind of has a Betsey Johnson thing going on dontcha think!

Hey Cup Cake!

My hopes were crushed yesterday.....My hopes of opening the first Cup Cake Shop in London, Ontario, Canada. To my chagrin....I discovered a new Cup Cake store opening soon called Hey Cupcake!.....not only that, but after looking up the web site for Hey Cup Cake, I discovered London has another Cup Cake Store called Razzle Dazzle Cup cakes! I must be out of the loop! Oh well...I am not bitter, not when it comes to cup cakes! Check them out!
